FAA AD 2026-05-11: Updated Vibration Checks for Airbus AS332 Helicopters

FAA AD 2026-05-11 supersedes AD 2020-09-15 for certain Airbus Helicopters AS332 models to prevent divergent aeromechanic coupling by retaining prior removal requirements and adding repetitive in-flight vibration measurements at 12 Hz after specific maintenance tasks, with corrective actions if levels exceed limits.

Applicability: Airbus Helicopters Model AS332C, AS332C1, AS332L, and AS332L1 helicopters, certificated in any category, equipped with a dual hoist installation and de-icing system.

Effective Date: April 17, 2026.
